Thinly potted and translucent, this rounded bowl rests on a slightly tapering foot. Painted on the outside with an exquisitely rendered design of two quails in front of rock work with narcissus on one side and branches of flowering wintersweet and nandina berries on the other, in enamels of rose pink, white, red blue, green, yellow and brown. The base inscribed with a Yongzheng reign mark in underglaze blue.
